Lesson 6: Feeling Inside the Body

  1. Daniel Early says

Sifu talks about moving the tension or attacking the tension. My question is if we attack the tension of our partner and it stays in how do we get it out? I am reluctant to attack the tension for fear that it will stay in my partner and I will not be able to get it out. First how do we know if the tension stays in our partner and second if so how do we get it out. Thanks

    • First, train this with slow pushes most of the time. That way your partner moves and doesn’t get hurt.

Once you get the hang of this you could start stepping it up very slowly inch by inch. Keep any striking much lighter than you think it needs to be at first.
