I have a question. How can this movement be used to defend against a kick, particularly low kick? I feel that this movement is more effective against an attack from if the opponent uses his upper body as a weapon rather than his lower body.

This lesson is focusing on the upper body aspect of the movement. You will use your knees, legs and feet to deal with kicks. Especially low ones.

The will be addressed in a few different ways throughout the Xing Yi intensive.
